YUGOSLAVIA (Group F) will leave Saint-Galmier near SAINT-ETIENNE on Wednesday 24 June for NANTES where they will arrive at about 11:00 am. The Yugoslav delegation will stay at the Novotel Hotel in Carquefou where a press conference will be held at 1:00 pm, followed by a training session open to the media at around 7:00 pm. Training will be on the pitch at the stade de la Beaujoire where they will face the USA, the next day.

For this last first round match, coach Slobodan SANTRAC will not be able to select Miroslav DJUKIC (5), injured against GERMANY, who has torn his calf muscle ending his World Cup. YUGOSLAVIA will also be without Darko KOVACEVIC (22), who has bad bruising after pulling his right thigh and Dejan SAVICEVIC (8) who is still not ready to return. These two players will be able to rejoin their team in the second round if YUGOSLAVIA get through the first phase. As for the fourth injury, Zoran MIRKOVIC (2), he has been declared fit to play, his bruise being no more than a bad memory.
