"You can see from the training that our team is ready, all is well and that includes RONALDO (9). DENMARK beat NIGERIA so its going to be difficult, but in any case this will be a great match. DENMARK play more of a European style – they know each other's positions on the pitch and are tactically strong. Their game is very different from NORWAY's, as DENMARK's technique involves using the ball more. The pitch today is very wet which will have a strong influence on the game. BRAZIL have certainly not peaked yet, but it is up to the players to perform and I'm confident that their game will improve with every match. BRAZIL in the 70's were playing wonderful football in a very different environment because they had more space to play. Today's aim is to concentrate on preventing your opponents from playing their own game – but I believe that BRAZIL can still add fantasy and magic to this 1998 World Cup."
