Michel Platini and Jacques LAMBERT at the opening of FIFA's 51st Congress

Michel PLATINI, President of France 98, and Jacques LAMBERT, Managing Director of the French Organising Committee (CFO), attended the opening ceremony of 51^st FIFA Congress on Sunday 7 June at the Meridien Hotel. The 51^st Congress will continue on Monday 8 June at 9 h 15 at the espace Equinoxe, 20 rue Pierre Avia, PARIS (15^th arrondissement), located close to the International Media Centre. The high point will be the election of a new president to head FIFA, a position for which there are two candidates: the Swiss Joseph S.BLATTER and the Swede Lennart JOHANSSON.
