Blazevic calls up new recruits

ZAGREB, May 28 (AFP)

Croatian boss Miroslav Blazevic has called up striker Alen Peternac, midfielder Boris Zivkovic and defender Danijel Saric to his World Cup squad. Blazevic has been denied the services of striker Alen Boksic through injury and on Wednesday he ordered striker Igor Cvitanovic home after the player complained about the demanding training programme. Blazevic will announce the 22 players he is taking to the finals on June 2.
