Gazzas famous friends worry Ince
LONDON, May 24 (AFP)
Paul Gascoignes showbusiness friends, rock singer Rod Stewart and TV celebrities Chris Evans and Danny Baker, have come under fire from England star Paul Ince. Troubled England midfielder Gascoigne has been warned by coach Glenn Hoddle that he has to get into shape for next months World Cup finals after being linked with drinking sessions with the trio. "What breaks my heart is the treatment of Gazza by some of his so-called friends. Nothing hurts me more than seeing someone like Rod Stewart describing what Gazza did or what he drank on a night out,"  Ince told the News of the World.

"Im not just having a pop at Rod Stewart. Id love to see a lot more of Gazzas mates letting him get on with the World Cup without distractions,"   Earlier this week, Hoddle insisted that if Gascoigne steps out of line again he could find himself out of Englands final squad of 22 for the World Cup, which starts in France on June 10.
