Bora MILUTINOVIC
Velibor Milutinovic, known as "Bora", is without doubt one of the most experienced national team coaches presently in the game: with Mexico, Costa Rica, the United States and now Mexico again, he has been at the helm for more than 200 international games. Born in Serbia, Milutinovic began his footballing career with Partizan Belgrade before playing in Switzerland, France and finally Mexico, where he hung up his boots. In 1986, his Mexican team reached the quarter-finals before losing to Germany on penalties. In 1994 he led the American team to the last sixteen (lost 0-1 against Brazil). In France he will be attempting to do at least as well as in 1986.
