The A to Z of ticket sales for FRANCE 98

The Presidents of the French Organising Committee, Michel Platini and Fernand Sastre, have spared no efforts in launching the FRANCE 98 PASS, star product of the World Cup ticket range. They were present at no less than 10 press conferences at the various host cities between 12 and 26 November.

EDITORIAL

COCKADOODLEDOO!

I was born on 18 May 1996 and on 27 November acquired «legal status» when I was named Footix.Several thousand «godparents» chose a name for me in a nationwide competition set up by the CFO.

I am proud to possess a name which has found favour with children in no time at all, and which places me firmly at the heart of the great family of world football. And I keenly look forward to seeing the millions of football supporters who can now reserve their seats for the 1998 World Cup. A wonderful celebration awaits us. Meanwhile, I join with the whole French Organising Committee team in wishing everyone a very happy and prosperous 1997.
