He didn't have a happy time at Zagreb, and then played for Zadar and Inker and VfB Stuttgart
Created a sensation while he was at Inker when they beat the favourites FC Croatia (formerly Dynamo) in the first Croatian Cup final
After the match his place at FC Croatia was guaranteed, till he decided to join FC Stuttgart in 96
Along with Nikola Jerkan, one of the tallest players in the Croatian squad
